I have often heard people say that they hate fake people. This has always made me curious. When I asked what they mean they say, "I hate people that act one way around one group of people, and act another way around a different group." I find this ideology to be absurd. Think about it! You don't jump on the couch and play air guitar or play RAP and Heavy Metal music full blast when your Grandma visits. However, when the guys you went to High School with come over... Well... It's on! You see, our psychological state is effected by those around us, and this changes how we act around different people. In other words, we feel more comfortable doing certain things around certain people. Is this being fake? No, it's simply showing the different parts of your personality and everyone does it. Now, define "Fake People" as those who do things the do not approve of, or act in ways they do not like, simply for approval, then yes, I agree, these people can be troublesome, but hate them? Hardly, most of them have just never felt accepted and could possibly benefit from having found a true friend
